Oversee the purchase of spare parts and consumables within the Fleet Group. Advise Master and Chief Engineer directly on important issues and report matters which may become insurance cases to Insurance Manager immediately. Implement and maintain safe, cost efficient and environmental operational standards in compliance with the organisation’s HSSEQ system. Prepare and follow up on quotations and project proposals Manage cost control and review all financial reporting to owners. Lead team to ensure quality of work complies with customer expectations and recognized ship management standards. This position calls for a seasoned Fleet Manager, preferably with chemical tanker, bulk and cargo experience. You should be capable of thinking strategically, possess desirable leadership traits.
