Our client is a leading company (Nasdaq listed) specializing in the Internet and software services. Job Location: Beijing Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the development engineers on requirements and successful project completion. - Manage the QA Team with about 300+ testing engineers with support of possible multiple product lines as needed, which includes creating and executing automated test cases, developing performance tests and researching new testing tools. - Explores ways to leverage new technologies in QA processes. Coach and develop the teams toward higher performance by reducing employee errors, achieving higher levels of worker production, and increase employee morale leading to higher retention and throughput quality. - Demonstrate problem solving skills. - Interface with all levels of development engineering management on appropriate issues. - Establish and develop department policies and procedures as well as ensure personnel are trained and following appropriate procedures. - Assure the quality of the products. - Understand the entire scope of the product and general product internals to adequately plan and execute appropriate test cases. - Responsible for ensuring accurate records are maintained for current software defects. - Provide accurate work effort assessments for proposed projects. - Contributes ideas to improve and measure product functionality, maintainability or performance. - Monitor and recommend QA/Development process improvement. Requirements: - Bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. - Minimum of 8-10 years experience in Systems Quality Assurance or equivalent. * Minimum of 5 years supervisory or management experience with scope of 100+ employees or equivalent preferred. - Candidate must be able to interact with all levels of employees and management. - Must be able to assert yourself in a professional manner at all times. - Must be able to train new and existing personnel in respective department roles. - Must be able to motivate employees in a high-pressure environment with rapidly changing priorities. - Must be able to demonstrate a "sense of urgency" in meeting customer requirements. - Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Must be able to communicate quality issues as well as express standards and requirements. - Candidate must have a good understanding of systems software development life cycle (SDLC) processes with emphasis on requirements, design, test planning and automation; and a fundamental understanding of Quality Systems. |
