Job Description
1. Marketing Communications · Develop, implement and execute marketing strategies and programs for both consulting services and products in China with an aim to strengthening market positioning, and support overall business and client development goals. · Develop and manage external marketing communications and public relations to ensure a consistent brand image and messages to both clients and the media · Oversee the client management database and its related CRM/marketing functions · Oversee the management of company publications (e-version and hardcopy) · Oversee the management of the company China website · Lead and conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive analysis as needed to support service/product definitions and positioning · Facilitate cooperation between marketing, business development, office managers, and consulting team to ensure consistency of, commitment to, and resources for marketing initiatives. · Manage and develop marketing staff 2. Public Relations Management · Drafting and editing press releases and by-line articles to high standard consistent with company messaging and editorial guidelines. · Developing and maintaining good working relationships with the media - including local and national newspapers, online media, magazines, radio, and television - and company's spokespeople · Work with consultants to author and/or edit articles and reports for publication · Work with trade and government associations to leverage non media public relations channels · Responding to enquiries from reporters · Reviewing editorial schedules and managing process to ensure the firm appears in all key features · Assisting with organization of press briefings, media training, photography, and press attendance at company seminars · Publicizing high-profile media coverage on company website and maintaining the PR site on company's intranet · Design and administer events on ad hoc basis Qualification: · University degree preferably with Media and Marketing focus · Demonstrated track record of effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills (English and Chinese) · Above 5 years marketing experience, preferably some agency experience · Event management experience · Strong project management skills · Government relations experience a plus · CRM experience · Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management |
