| POSITION PURPOSE:
? Head the Yard Equipment Maintenance(YEM) services in Mainland China and Hongkong ? Execute YEM project implementation successfully. ? Execute the business expansion strategy for YEM ? Lead the Operation Division in YEM to be a high performing organisation GENERAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Ensure the department is staffed with suitable, qualified and trained personnel ? Build lasting relationships with customers ? Acquire new customers ? Introduce new services ? Expenses and resources consumptions in the department ? Productivity and efficiency ? Utilisation of company assets ? Carry out various projects and report accordingly as requested by the General Manager or his/her delegate. ? Attend courses as laid out by training programme and do this with a positive mind for learning SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Regularly meet with container terminals clients in the region. ? Set-up daily job control, cost control and invoice handling processes ? Find competitive suppliers of critical spare parts ? Make sure Brigantine is invited to tender on YEM services by all terminal operations in the market. ? Conduct project management and cost control for ongoing project. ? Conduct regular briefings / meetings with staff SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION: ? Practical and managerial experience with maintenance of large machinery, equipment, plants ? Demonstrate strong leadership ? Have the ability to build a team ? Good interpersonal skills ? Experience PC user and MS Office software package ? Have good command of both written and oral English an advantage |
