DESCRIPTION An assistant manager is a store manager in training, supportive to manager, and ability to do all functions, just as a store manager. The assistant manager must be fully trained in all of the tasks detailed above as well as all back stock functions. It is essential that the assistant manager be capable of operating the store should the store manager be absent for any length of time. In addition, the assistant manager must be a confident sales and operational trainer; capable of training new sales associates or key-holders. Flexibility and experience is a must.
