Description: American Apparel is recruiting back stock associates! Back stock associates are an important part of the retail team. They are responsible for making sure that the sales floor is fully stocked at all times, placing orders for items needed in the store, sending and receiving daily shipments, and aiding the back stock coordinator in any necessary tasks. An ideal back stock associate is extremely organized and capable of working by themselves for extended periods of time. We are looking for someone who is a hard worker and will be passionate about their work and their contributions to the success of their store. Microsoft Word and Excel skills are essential and you must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Previous experience in a stock position is recommended, but not necessary. If you're a quick thinker and adapt easily to sometimes stressful situations, you could be the one we're looking for. Our company is growing at a rapid pace so there is tremendous opportunity for advancement. Retail back stock associates have continued on to store management positions, as well as positions in marketing, merchandising, and design, and traveling throughout the world to help open new retail stores.
