Responsibilities:
1. Training materials and cases development § Based on the analysis of the talent market requirement for respective discipline at various levels, to formulate and develop training materials and cases which derive from real technical world in each industry of the discipline. The training materials and cases will be used as standardized training materials in all of Ambow’s affiliated independent training schools. § Develop trainer plans and training hours needed to deliver the training courses; § Review Ambow current training material and cases pool, update training materials and cases pools according to the popular techniques and methods used in software engineering industry/applications. 2. Train the Trainers § Train the trainers in terms of technologies and methods embedded in the developed training materials and cases, and to explain training skills, techniques, facilitating tools and tips which should be deployed in delivered the training courses and cases. § Organize forums and seminars to trainers on the most up-to-date development in software technologies and methods; Deliver demo trainings to students where other trainers will learn necessary techniques, methods and tips out of it. 3. Train students § As invited or required, to delivery trainings or speeches to students. 4. Evaluating and Auditing § Develop audit process and check list which is to be used in internal audit for digging out non-conformance to the standard training materials, cases and methods. § To audit and evaluate the training material, techniques and cases used in affiliated independent operating schools to dig out defects and non-conformances. To prepare audit report to the management of the Vocational Education Business Unit so that the management team will be aware of the non-compliance and findings in delivering of the trainings. 5. Trainers’ qualification verification § Together with HR Department, to design career progression path for trainers and to define technical competencies required at different career levels; § To evaluate trainers’ technical qualifications against the technical competencies. The evaluation result would be uses as important inputs to determine the career level and career progression of trainers. Qualifications required: Knowledge: 1. Solid knowledge in development or design process e.g. CMMI in software engineering or processes in respective discipline eg ISO process. 2. Expert in knowledge, theory, tools and methodologies in respective discipline. 3. Must have a well developed understanding of the updated technologies and methodologies in respective industries. 4. Good command of MS Office. 5. Proficiency in both spoken and written English. 6. Ph.D./Master Degree in each discipline Experience: 1. Experience of following a design from inception based on customer requirements to complete field deployment and customer usage. 2. Experience in leading at least one large development project in respective discipline; 3. 3+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer and mentor to other junior engineers; 4. 5+ years of experience as in each discipline 5. Experience in develop training courses, cases and experience in delivering trainings will be preferred; Capabilities: 1. Quality and Result Orientation; 2.
