Job Description Daily monitoring of QCT's ASIC Supplier Subcontractor's Production efficiency. Daily support of QCT's ASIC Supplier Subcontractor's product flows and cycle times.
Daily reporting of identified Production & Supply issues with QCT. Collaborative problem solving, with QCT and QCT's Suppliers Subcontractors on Production & Supply issues. Support of strategic alignment of QCT Supplier's Subcontractors towards Co-Location of the Backend Process' (ie Assembly, Test and Distribution). The Offshore Operations Regional Manager will work closely with appropriate QCT San Diego personnel and interface directly with QCT's Supplier representatives and their Subcontractors at the Regional Supplier or Subcontractor site(s). This individual will coordinate Subcontractor Monthly & Quarterly Operatios Reviews, Video/ Teleconference (as required), and routine meetings with QCT's Sr. Mgr of Offshore Operations and QCT Procurement to monitor, assess and align the Subcontractor's capabilities and Assembly and Test capacities with QCT's and QCT's Suppliers' requirements. Manage New Product Introduction, Production Ramp & New Package Qualification of Flip Chips. This individual's job function will include recruiting, staffing & managing all Operations activities in China. Skills/Experience Ten years of experience managing relationships with IC Suppliers and Subcontractors. Well established relationships with the Semiconductor Industries. Subcontract base and five years of previous Subcontract Assembly and Test work experience. Additional Skills Supply or Operations experience in either a Fab or Fabless Semiconductor company or direct working experience at a Subcontract Assembly and Test site. Five years of direct Subcontractor Customer Service or previous experience in both a Fab and Fabless semiconductor company, preferred. Excellent Communication Skills in English & Mandarin preferred. Collaborative way of working and a strong team player. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or appropriate field. |
