Responsibilities :
- Supervises Operational Staff - Interact with regional offices of the mother company in Asia Pacific, Parsippany and Europe - Interacts with all Franchisee Owners, GM’s and property sales personnel - Interacts with individuals outside the company including but not limited to current and potential clients, suppliers, competitors, government officials, and other members of the local and national community - Interacts internally with all Team Members of Headquarters office - Interacts indirectly with the Hotel Investment Company Board of Directors - Develops and implements the strategic plan, budget, and goals program for the operations department to ensure on-going optimum company performance, sales potential, and profitability - Ensures brand standard consistency in all subsidiary hotels both in service and hotel hardware. - Manages the functions of all operational department personnel incl. regional operations Director. - Monitors present and future trends, practices, and systems in the hotel industries and determines and ensures execution of competitive programs - Conducts weekly meetings with all individual sub-departments within the operations division - Conducts weekly operational meetings with all operational department personnel - Conducts a bi weekly Hotel Review Committee Meetings - Monitors applicable laws and regulations through the Senior Vice President for Government Affairs that may affect company operations - Establishes and maintains effective communications and meeting structures to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity - Establishes and maintains a prominent level of visibility with Area Partners and in business and social communities - Establishes and maintains effective employee relations - Reviews all company related media reports and other marketing information on a daily basis and action any issues encountered - Ensures that recognition programs are used with properties on a quarterly basis - Establishes a operations department newsletter that will be used as a major communication tool with property owners and gm’s - Ensures environmentally friendly practices are implemented with managed properties in accordance with International Standards - Ensure that all pertinent information and communications with Managed Hotels is followed up in writing - Ensures that all monthly reports are accurately completed and on time - Ensures that departmental goals are set and achieved - Maintains established departmental standards - Performs other assignments as defined by the needs of the company or directed by the CEO - Use the ‘completed staff work’ process for all project, written, and research assignments - Signs the yearly individual goals and objects for this position and ensures that they are achieved Requirements: - Seasoned Professional with a minimum of 15 years hotel experience in operations and senior management - Construction background, rich experience in hotel construction is a plus - Superior communication skills - Strong managerial competencies in technical and professional skills - Analytical, problem solving and follow-up abilities - Effective time management and personal organization skills - Self-motivated, driven and dynamic working principles - Build and maintain effective relationships - Positive attitude - Manage conflicts according to objectives and goals - Focus on results and resolutions to problems - Competency in Microsoft computer programs - Decisiveness - Persuasive skills - Negotiation skills - Customer Service Orientation Skills - Dual language skills a plus Interested parties, please send your full resume with reference number in English to: JassiL@antal.com.cn |
