You will be part of a dedicated Marketing Team working with specifc Business Units such as Kitchen Appliance, Garment Care, Floorcare, Shaving and Grooming and Beauty. Your Responsibilities: As a Consumer Marketing Manager at Philips Consumer Lifestyle you will drive the definition, development and introduction of lifestyle products that bring ever-more rewarding and enjoyable experiences to consumers by meeting their well being needs. You will translate in-depth market, consumer, fashion and competitive analyses into winning concepts by defining product positioning. You will then integrate these new concepts into strategic product roadmaps that uniquely address the needs of Philips’ Consumer Lifestyle markets. In these responsible positions, you will steer the product creation process from end to end, taking initial ideas through to product development and introduction. During the process, you will interact with all associated disciplines, including R&D departments, internal and external design agencies, external suppliers/OEMs, marketing management and international sales organizations. In addition to developing new product concepts, you will also help to extend the lifecycle of existing products by contributing your marketing expertise to product enhancement processes. This is a highly challenging position offering an attractive balance of strategic thinking and ‘hands on’ activity in an international business environment. It offers excellent potential for rapid career advancement, with successful candidates likely to move up to more senior positions in the Philips organization within two to three years. Your Profile: You are university degree or MBA qualified in a relevant subject area (for example, business administration or economics) and you have – 2-5 years experience in an international business environment, preferably in the field of consumer marketing, sales or product management and ideally with fast moving goods. Your communication skills, in English (written and spoken), are excellent. You are highly entrepreneurial with a real aptitude for business. You have a natural affinity for fashion/ lifestyle products, and a market and consumer driven approach to product creation. Your conceptual thinking, organizational and communication skills allow you to influence others, present convincing arguments and build and maintain extensive networks. Your excellent project management skills and broad interests allow you to create multi-disciplinary environments that inspire and motivate others.
