China's e-sports team Newbee won the International Dota2 Championship and claimed the top prize of more than $5 million after defeating fellow Chinese team ViCi Gaming in the grand finals this morning in Seattle.
It is the fourth year of the international Dota2 Championship (TI4), hosted by the game's creator, Valve Software.
Sixteen teams from around the world competed this year for more than $10 million in prize money.
Dota2 is a multiplayer online battle arena where two teams of five players must defend an "ancient" from opponents. The first team to destroy their opponent's ancient wins.
This year, for the first time, sports channel ESPN broadcast the Dota2 Championships.
