| Introduction About our school:
We are a small institute based in Meizhou, a city in Guangdong, southern China. Our students are mainly 5 to 14 years old, from kindergarten, to primary and middle schools. We have foreign and Chinese management, so we are able to understand and help in all situations that may arise in the cross culture transition of our teachers. We offer Chinese lessons for our teachers. The Way of SSE Teaching We provide English classes to students with the aim of bringing high level education to students, in a fun learning environment. Our teaching style is very active; we use a lot of songs, role plays, games and actions. Our motto “Fun, Effective and Practical” sums it up really. We try to make the kids have fun in an English environment, Our curriculum is fun and exciting too; it utilizes a multi-sensory approach to teaching. We use a lot of songs and games in our classes and promote the idea that students learn best while having fun. Our curriculum is very effective and easy to teach. We have a series of master lesson plans for all our units taught, which provides a good framework for our teachers to work from. There is also a lot of room for creativity in our curriculum. All our teachers are assigned a bilingual co-teacher who will work with you in all of your classes. You will run the class, but they can help with discipline and showing games and such. We try to enforce English only policy in class, but sometimes translation is definitely needed. The co-teachers are great at helping control the students while you teach, encouraging the kids to learn effectively with the teacher, as well as helping with communication with parents and schools we work within. What We Offer We offer a starting salary of 6000RMB for maximum 1080 minutes (18 hours) of teaching per week. Classes are 40-45 minutes. All salaries also include a 5000RMB bonus on successful completion of a one-year contract. All teachers have 5 paid sick days and one week holiday pay. 6000RMB per month on the first term,on the second term,6000---7500RMB per month,that depends on your performance. Teachers are provided with free, fully furnished and self contained accommodation (including internet) Starting Time: Around the End January 2012. Semester starts 7th February.
