Teaching TOEFL to elite students (aged 14-16), which is to be conducted among one of the top public middle/high schools in Beijing. Programmes are scheduled to last for one academic year, depending on the specific arrangement of each school. The lessons are designed to build a bridge between the students normal school programme and higher education in countries such as the USA, the UK and others. It is our goal to prepare Chinese students for Western education standards. The CHEER Foundation is pleased to offer you a job as a TOEFL teacher. We trust that your knowledge, skills and experience will be among our most valuable assets. Job Specification: 1. Native English speaker. Preferably with a Western background as a clear understanding of Western culture is of essence for these students. 2. Teaching experience (two years) in relation to TOEFL prep is a key advantage. 3. A Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college or university. 4. Passion for teaching (high school) students. Starting date: December (usually September/February) Benefits: - Part-time teachers: 300 Yuan per teaching hour (40min.) - Full-time teachers: 15, 000 Yuan per month (Negotiable) - Accommodation can be provided on request (On campus) - Working Permit will be provided - Support from staff (i.e. our other foreign teachers) may enable you to adapt and connect faster to your new environment |
