Knowledge,Skills And Experience:
-Strong technical skills,knowledge and qualifications in marine and aviation operations, inventory control,transportation and other logistics services,with basic accounting and administrational skills. -Functional working knowledge of drilling and production materials and equipment and general offshore operations preferably gained through actual offshore work. -Proven supervisory ability,strong administrational and interpersonal skills,integrity and work ethic. -Be a team player,with a positive"can do"attitude and the ability to work independently,with the minimum of supervision,making sound operational decisions under difficult and conflicting conditions. -Excellent verbal,written communication and presentation skills.Proven organizational and conflict resolution skills. -5+ years-offshore industry experience,minimum 2 years experience in a logistics role with another Operator. -Detailed knowledge of all applicable procedures,regulations,standards and guidelines. -Holds current BST.Formally trained and qualified in TDG(sea and air),Cargo Handling and CCU/Sling Inspection. -Computer literate,with a good working knowledge of various Microsoft Office applications and Husky POB,materials and logistics management systems. -Be fit and healthy and able to undertake physical work in a hostile offshore environment Specific Accountabilities: -Supervises the safe and effective delivery of all offshore logistics support services required to sustain MODU operations. -Acts as the main logistics contact on the MODU and is responsible for coordinating all offshore logistics support activities,maintaining continuous and effective communications with the Logistics Supervisor to ensure the effective scheduling, deployment and utilization of all logistics resources. -Receives,interprets,prioritizes,delegates and monitors logistics requirements and ensures scheduling milestones are achieved in a timely and cost effective manner. -Participates in the MRP process in setting logistics objectives and is responsible for implementing action plans to ensure they are achieved with additional responsibility for input of accurate logistical data to the 10-Day Planner and Group Load List. -Ensures optimum utilization of contracted logistics resources and support services to minimize costs and prevent interruption to drilling operations. -Plans and maintains crew change rota for offshore Husky personnel and Husky contractors. -Plans and manages all offshore marine and helicopter operations,personnel movements,crew changes and POB control on a daily basis.Monitors Helideck operations for compliance with Husky standards. -Liaison with vessels operating in the field,monitoring and reporting vessel movements. -Compiles,verifies or assists in the compilation of all materials and personnel movements documentation,including manifests,returns notes,TDG documentation etc and maintains comprehensive and accurate records of all material inventory,rental equipment and material movement's to/from the installation. -Ensures optimum inventory levels of bulk drilling products,helifuel,rig fuel and consumables are maintained. -Advises Husky and Contractor personnel of all logistics operations liable to affect drilling/MODU operations and provides supervision and daily guidance for contractors on all logistics matters. -Ensures compliance with Husky's marine, aviation and other logistics policies and procedures and disseminates relevant information to appropriate parties offshore.Ensures compliance with all industry and regulatory standards,codes of practice,guidelines etc. -Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities.Initiates and maintains accurate records and KPI to address lessons learnt and improve operating efficiencies -Negotiates and resolves issues/priority conflicts with rig and service contractors on logistical priorities,HSE performance or service interruption. -Maintains accurate records of CCU utilization, movements,and conducts inspections of CCU's and the packing and stowage of all materials shipped from the installation. -Assists the OIM/Husky Senior Representative in MedEvac or emergency exercise and situations. -Provide general office/administrational support and assists with daily rig and cost reports. -Monitors and manages logistics related contractor operational and safety performance, monitors QHSE aspects of all logistics related activities onboard the MODU,participates in safety meetings, compiles and participates in accident,incident,near miss and IRR investigations as required. -Investigates NCR reports issued by the Logistics Supervisor,Supply Base, Helicopter or Vessel Contractor relating to MODU activities,recommends remedial action and submits reports as required. -Promotes amongst the MODU crew a positive awareness of the criticality of the logistics function,necessary planning, processes and best practices. |
