| Principal Responsibilities
? Design new product/component by using Pro/E. ? Provide purchasing department with product specifications and communicate with supplier to make the technical requirement of function components clear and correct. ? To make the feasibility study and qualification plan of localization projects. ? Handles engineering change requests (ECR) through DEMO and Movex (or Scala) ? Analyzes field problem and develops solutions to rectify the problems. ? Participates in a cross-functional team to develop new products/new components. ? Develops/Maintain engineering documentation. ? Develop special designs to meet special customer requests. ? Check and release drawings. ? Prepare Bills of Material (BOM) through DEMO and Movex (or Scala) ? Interface with shop personnel during fabrication and testing to insure product compliance with design formation and delivery requirements. . Education B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Minimum Years of Work Experience 5 years Skills ? Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. ? Must be a team player - open-minded and flexible. ? Must have the ability to manage multi-tasks, carry out root cause analysis, and deal with internal and external customers. Must have excellent problem solving skills. ? Good experience with Pro/E solid modeling. ? Experience and knowledge of drilling rig application, hydraulic system and drilling rig product configuration. ? Experience and knowledge of mechanical designing. ? Good knowledge of steel material and material mechanics. ? Good command of English (both oral and written). ? PC literacy (MS office). Language Skills Requirements He/She must be fluent in Chinese and English.
