Position Profile
-To drive company’s Management Planning process to ensure the company develop sufficient high caliber and skilled employees in meeting its short and long term business goals -To formulate and develop strategies, policies, procedures and monitoring systems in the development of internal talents and management trainees -Organize annual Management Planning process for management positions to ensure all related information are properly documented with quality input and timely return -Provide training, advice and support to line managers in the completion of potential Appraisal forms for their subordinates -Advise line managers on the design of appropriate and realistic development plan for their subordinates comprising on-job and off-job learning opportunities -Plan and coordinate the execution of approved development plans of local employees, with special focus on “High Potential” and coordinate their nominations to the company’s international management programs -Jointly with the HR Manager / Recruitment Manager, develop and implement recruitment marketing plans and activities at target universities, trade or professional institutions -Help in the development of structured Management Trainee development program. Execute and ensure its full implementation as planned -Review with line manager, coaches and management trainees regularly to ensure the effectiveness of the development program. Recommend and act on improvements -Advise and train line managers on how to identify a subordinate’s training and development needs. And together with them, identify the appropriate development methods and training programs -Support and advise line managers in the design of appropriate and realistic development plan for their subordinates comprising on-job and off-job learning opportunities -Plan and coordinate the execution of approved development plans of local employees, with special focus on “High Potential” and coordinate their nominations to the Group’s international management programs -Develop and implement policies and systems to ensure that the training and development needs are communicated to the Associate Dean, China House of Training and being acted upon accordingly -Regularly monitor, evaluate and review existing internal and external training program to ensure their suitability and alignment to the employees’ development plan Candidate Profile -Bachelor degree holder, possibly with a post graduate qualification in Training and Development, Psychology, Organizational Behavior or Human Resource Management -A proven record of 7+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in human resource management position, specialized in people development at management level in a dynamic multi-national and / or multi-cultural environment -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in both verbal and written English and Chinese, and with all levels of employees (from general staff to Senior Management) -Good counseling / advisory skills, strategic thinking and critical analytical ability, objectivity and open-minded are the essential personal attributes -Confident to operate effectively in a big corporate environment that demands massive coordination, emphasis on teamwork, open communication, innovation and performance orientation -Integrity and self-confidence, flexibility and high mobility If you are interested in this job, please be free to contact us by teachcn@yahoo.com.cn or kennychen@centajob.com.cn |
