the International Business School signed an agreement with ten enterprises to launch internship bases and held the 2nd Chinese Entrepreneur “Face to Face Q&A” University Entrepreneurship Forum.
On behalf of the School, Wu Peiguan, executive deputy dean of the International Business School, signed agreements of jointly building internship centers with chairmen and general managers of 10 companies from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Zhongshan respectively, and granted the center plaque to the internship center. Zhong Yibiao, deputy Party secretary of the School, conferred upon the entrepreneurs the appointment letters of International Business School Career Development Mentor. At the forum, 11 entrepreneurs shared with the audience the stories of their entrepreneurship, and give advice to the students on how to develop their career. Students attending the forum noted that, they could have a better grasp of entrepreneurial spirit through the contact with the entrepreneurs from different fields. And it would be more convincing to them that the entrepreneurs could give some suggestions on the pros and cons of the two approaches of entrepreneurship and hunting for jobs.
After the event, HRs of the companies at the forum conducted interviews with students for summer internship. Students from the International Business School submitted their resumes and offered interviews at the forum.
According to sources, the International Business School aims to cooperate with 10 high-end companies to establish internship bases annually. Through the cooperation between the University and enterprises, and establishing the training camp of student career development, and courses that focus on entrepreneurial spirit and employment and entrepreneurship of students, the School can fill the gap between education, internship and employment.
