Requirements: 1) Good command of English 2) A four-year bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics Economics. 3) Flexible schedule, available to teach at least 6 lessons per week from January 16, 2012 to April 27,2012(40 min per lesson) 4) Teaching experience in relevant subjects of AP/A Level/ IB is highly preferred 5) Excellent communication skills and great personality 6) Teaching experience in international schools is a plus 7) Initial training and course orientation is required before teaching Job Description: 1) According to the requirements of College Board, teaching relevant AP courses in public high school in Changning District, Shanghai, China(for more information about AP program, especially the syllabus for each specific subject, please log onto www. collegeboard.com) 2) Assigning appropriate homework and checking homework on time 3) Developing and using suitable supplementary materials as necessary 4) Using audio / video materials in classes as necessary 5) Supervising students and monitoring student's learning progress 6) Adjusting and differentiating instruction to meet the learning needs of students of varied levels 7) Preparing and marking mock examinations 8) Submitting syllabus and course audit form for the annual Course Audit as required by College Board. 9) Participating in related teaching activities organized by CHEER Benefits: The pay is 400-600 RMB per hour(60 minutes) for part-time teachers depending on differing teaching experience and other related qualifications.
