| Assists the ACS China Controller in all his / her responsibilities. He/She will implement controls and processes to ensure a robust control environment in ACS China.
Work closely with the respective businesses to drive an effective control environment. Assists with the timely and accurate closure of all ACS China financial accounts monthly. Manage and work closely with outsourced vendors and other Corp function dept including Genpact, GFS, Corp tax and Corp Treasury, implementing and executing tax / treasury strategy and compliance activities. Ensuring that all accounts are 100% reconciled monthly. Reviewing and approving account reconciliations for all general ledger balances supporting the entity’s reported HFM results, and ensuring monthly general ledger balances are completely and properly reconciled to HFM. Supporting and managing internal and external audit requirements, including ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and comments. Scheduling and performing detailed quarterly balance sheet reviews, inviting management to participate in their choice of the entire review or a summary debrief. Assist ACS China controller conducting annual Balance Sheet Review on other selected ACS China sites. Ensuring that all sites under his/her charge will be in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and ensuring US GAAP and statutory reporting and tax compliance for the various ACS China sites. To be a technical support focal point in China, working with business/finance management to determine proper accounting for all significant accounting judgment matters, including but not limited to reserves and contingencies. From time to time, he/she may be engaged in special projects (e.g. purchase accounting review on new acquisition and BCIR) as requested. |
