| Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in engineering preferable also with an International Welding Technician degree (IWT) - Some years experience of welding steel structures, for example experience from shipyards - Experience of surface treatment of steel structures is an advantage - Good skilled in spoken and written English. (It can be difficult to find good spoken engineers but if they are willing to learn then I can consider on that) - What is also very important is that he is willing to learn, ambitious and with a good team work spirit. Tasks - Follow up and look after that our partners and supplier are following our quality standards, most of the time should be spent out in the workshop - Follow up and look after that agreed productions schedules are kept - Follow up and recording quality divergences and work with continuous quality improvements - In some cases educate and train welders at our partners & suppliers - Do inspection of steel structures according to MGC holding points (checklists) - Do inspections together with surveyor from Classification Society - Educate and train shipyards and their subcontractors who are welding our steel structure on board. - Closed co-operation with our engineer in Sweden in order to develop the quality and production process.
