Position: Associate General Legal Counsel Report to: General Legal Counsel Direct Reports: To be confirmed Location: Shenzhen Job Purpose: Define and establish legal strategy that will supply legal support for all operating, administrative and marketing processes, and which assure all company stockholders that everything is within the legal framework, guaranteeing permanence and growth for the company within the market. Job Accountability: - Guarantee that company operation is legally supported in all comprising areas. - Supply all vice-presidencies with legal advice, alternatives and security for decision-making processes. - Reduce risks for the company as pertains to areas under its responsibility. - Ensure that company operation is complying with legal and government requirements within the legal framework. - Represent the company in all forums where procedurally required. - Endorse the decision-making in different internal committees. - Define the legal strategy to be followed by the company, in keeping with the legal situation within the country. - Detect and prevent legal risks for the company by keeping up to date in the field and with the use of necessary outside consultants. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Bachelors degree in Law (with license to practice) - Ten(10) years experience in different legal areas of the company and knowledge of commercial operations. - Research and analysis skills. - English and local language.
