| Job Description:
-Security -Act as Plan administrator for Crisis Management Planning & Business Continuity Planning (CMP/BMP) -Liaison for CMP/BCP support for business unit -Assist with HESSA (Safety / Security) audits for business unit -Administer C-TPAT (Customs and Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program -Notifies Management of all critical incidents or any news media involvement -Maintains open communications with Contract Security vendor -Interacts with Contract Security Vendor on staffing decisions for site -Maintains personnel record files for the uniformed Security Officers -Analyzes work schedules to ensure maximization of workforce / equitable distribution of work -Monitors job performance and provide feedback -Applies consistent and proper application of company and department policies/procedures -Reviews and proofs all submitted security incident reports for accuracy / completeness -Monitors Security Department vehicles and/or equipment to ensure proper maintenance -Monitors Security Officers for consistent compliance with Security policies and procedures -Communicates through use of verbal directives, e-mails, Daily Order / Pass-on Books -Performs initial investigative work on site incidents-may partner with Global Security Director or local Law Enforcement -Documents performance and rewards or implements corrective action in conjunction with Contract Security vendor -Ensures all Security Officers are properly uniformed and appear professional -Set schedules and post for security officers -Approves all security incident reports following review and determines necessary distribution -Oversees and responds to security needs -Assists in identifying training needs for contract officers or employees -Assists in training new and in-service Officers-training may be on-the-job or scenario drills -Serves as a resource for questions concerning the interpretation and enforcement of policies -Environmentatl, Health And Safety: -Offer Environmental, Health, & Safety support -Work with EHS manager to ensure standardization of site specific environmental, health and safety polices in compliance with regulatory, corporate, & insurance requirements -Implement, and enforce a Safety Programs -Provide innovative methods for reducing worker injuries -Participate with facility & corporate safety (HESSA)audits -Identify, characterize, minimize, & manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste -Institute Safety Rewards Programs locally -Be the facility point of contact for regulatory safety, environmental, security and Insurance inspectors -Evaluate & monitor facility for Environmental and Health contaminants -Manage Environmental Health and Safety training requirements -Evaluate the most cost-effective means of EHS training -Air quality, lighting, noise testing.
