Snowstorms hit central and eastern regions in China

Freezing weather has been sweeping through China for the last few days. Snowstorms have moved futher south, battering parts of central and eastern China, delaying flights and forcing road closures.
Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces are among the areas hardest hit. In Jiangxi, entrances to several highways have been closed after a rise in road accidents caused by ice. Further west, a third of counties in Guizhou province were affected by freezing rain on Sunday.
