Responsibilities:
· The Operations Manager is responsible for insuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the Water Purification business within China by directing and coordinating activities to obtain optimal levels economy operations and profit maximisation · Formulating goals, strategies, and operating policies and procedures, and directing implementation of approved change · Making decisions on employees regarding employment, performance appraisal, salary changes, promotions, transfers, or termination · Insuring productivity levels are maintained through effective monitoring of staffing levels and financial requirements · Guiding staff from all departments to achieve optimum performance level · Assisting with the preparation and administration of the annual budge · Technical sales, field service, project engineering, proposal development, procurement, customer service and quality assurance are functions reporting to the role · Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job function · Responsible for health and safety compliance for site operation · Understands and adheres to all company compliance, financial, and human resource policies Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (BS) Engineering and 6-8 years related experience in design, sales, estimating, construction or fabrication; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Excellent verbal and written skills Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Management experience required English and Mandarin writing and language skills |
