| Role Summary:
The Curriculum Writer is responsible for co-designing a learning matrix and lesson plans for our 12 to 36 month old learners and their enthusiastic parents. Our language and discovery matrix will target developmental milestones to encourage communication, imagination, individual contribution and social interaction. This role demands patience, motivation, creativity and a working knowledge of how to make learning fun for wee ones. The Curriculum Writer must be comfortable with deadlines, working in teams as well as independently. Some weekend and evening work might be required. Main Accountabilities: · Develop materials such as lesson plans, teacher manuals and parent learning guides · Develop the content for student textbooks, little readers, CDs, flashcard and other teaching aids Competencies: · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Excellent early childhood education teaching skills (3 years + experience) · Ability to create fun activities · Strong questioning and problem solving skills · Ability to give and receive constructive feedback · Open-minded and willing to look at multiple perspectives on a given topic · Demonstrates strong organization skills · Excellent understanding of early childhood development timeline · Committed to quality and exceptional end product Assets: · Bilingual: English and Chinese *LI-AG1 We thank all applicants for showing an interest in this position.
