We are a proud and well established member of the global EF community, which is the world's largest private education company. Our first EF Tianjin school opened in 2001 and since then we’ve been growing rapidly. We now have 5 schools and a successful Corporate Language Training Unit (CLT). Our English language programs cater to a diverse range of Chinese learners and we currently have over 4000 students studying with us. We offer curriculum for kindergarten, primary school and high school students, and also deliver comprehensive adult courses for both general and business English.
Due to our continuous expansion, we are looking to enlarge our team. We need qualified and experienced teachers to join our professional and hardworking team. You will be part of a team of committed teachers who can add value to the school in many ways.
We prefer flexible teachers who can teach a range of levels and ages from 4 years old up to adults and business. Teachers must be native speakers of English with a university degree and a TEFL certificate or equivalent. A minimum of one year teaching experience is required, preferably in ESL.
We work forty hours a week with a maximum of 20 hours per week in the classroom. We have two days off per week.

Our city of Tianjin is located 85 miles east of Beijing, near the coast and the capital can be reached by fast train in 30 minutes. Tianjin has a rich history that you’ll see in the old British and Italian concession areas, the port and the many examples of European architecture. As China’s third largest city with a population of over 10 million people, Tianjin is developing and modernizing rapidly. Fortunately, the city has retained an authentic Chinese way of life and you’ll find the people to be extremely friendly and the city to be very safe and inexpensive.
Our offer
Our teacher’s package is generous and includes
? Salary: starts at 7,000rmb (net) per month and up to 9,000rmb (net) per month depending on experience
? Travel: 9000rmb (net) per year
? Accommodation: Free nice furnished, shared apartment with one other teacher or an accommodation allowance of 2,000rmb net per month
? Bonus: contract completion bonus – one month salary (net)
