Pingu’s English School - an educational, fun and entertaining English language pre-school - is presently seeking 3 experienced individuals for full time positions working with children ages 3-9. Pingu's English, Tianjin is under western management and its school is modern and stylish with excellent resources. Teachers are fully trained in the Pingu’s English methodology which leverages the globally popular character Pingu through animation, stories, songs, craft and interactive role play - (www.pingusenglish.com). Teachers also receive ongoing training and support in EYP techniques and basic Mandarin.
To qualify you will be required to fulfill the following criteria:
* Be a native English speaker and hold a passport from one of the following locations: UK, Australia, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, Canada, or the United States.
* Possess a BA/BSc degree (in any major) and at least 2 years of work experience.
* TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification not necessary but candidates with these qualifications are preferred. (Candidates with a strong musical and/or creative arts background will be given higher priority).
* Candidates should be between the ages of 23 – 50 years old and be in good health.
We offer:
1. Private accommodation provided by the school.
2. 30 hours a week (max. 20 teaching hours); 2 days off.
3. Small class sizes (10 students or less), each with an English speaking TA.
4. Letter of invitation for Z visa and sponsorship for Foreign Expert’s Certificate.
5. 5,000RMB for return airfare to country of origin on completion of 1-year contract.
6. All medical/visa fees reimbursed by the school.
7. Competitive salary; 7,000-9,000RMB - varies according to level of education and work experience.
