We have a staff of 21 Chinese teachers teaching English. We need a foreign teacher “to REVIEW lessons once a week with each class in the presence of the Chinese teacher, to MODEL PRONUNCIATION for the students, and to give children the opportunity to INTERACT with a foreigner.”
REQUIREMENTS:
Native speakers of English from Canada, USA, Australia, or England
25-60 years of age
B.A. degree
Two years experience teaching children
TESOL certified a plus
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
6000Y per month salary: paid all 12 months of the year.
A furnished apartment: 2 bedrooms, complete with computer, TV, refrigerator, washing machine, stove, pots & pans, dishes, bedding, AC.
Roundtrip Air Ticket: Reimbursed at the successful conclusion of a one-year teaching contract.
Accident and Health Insurance: Full year.
A one-year work visa (Z-visa): We obtain a work visa for our foreign teacher.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. "Teach and Review Lessons with Children, K-8"
25 45-minute classes per week.
The foreign teacher reviews lessons taught by Chinese teachers and helps children with pronunciation.
2. “School Demonstrations, Parties, and other functions"
In addition to classes taught in our six-classroom training center, we also teach classes in a dozen schools in the city. At these schools we on occasion conduct “teacher demonstrations” and attend a “Christmas Party” or other “school function” during the year. This requires on average two hours per week.
This job requires energy, enthusiasm, an appreciation and love of children of all ages, and a willingness to work with and assist Chinese teachers.
