Qingdao Agricultural University is one of ordinary higher education institutes of Shandong Province, which provides bachelor-conferring programs under the approval of the State Council. Owning two campuses, this university covers an area of 3,323 mu (about 22.2hectares) with a total floor space of 765,000 square meters. With the former Laiyang Agriculture School as its predecessor, it was established in 1951.
