About International Business University Of Beijing |
International Business University of Beijing (IBUB) was the first institution of higher education charted in China as “International Business University”, with the approval of The Beijing Municipal Commission of Education in 1994. IBUB acquired the certificate for the Educational & Teaching Standards Of The Non-Governmental Institutions Of Higher Education in Beijing in 2003,and was awarded as one of “The Ten Excellent Non-Governmental Institutions Of Higher Education Of China” in May in 2004.
From the beginning, leaders of the government personally gave the university encouragement. The former vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of National People’s Congress, Madam Chen Muhua inscribed the name for the university. The former vice Chairman Of Standing Committee Of NPC Fei Xiaotong, Lu Jiaxi, Liao Hansheng and a number of ministers and some foreign commercial counselors to China also wrote inscriptions for the university.
The University owns a high quality teaching team. Its objective is to prepare its students for the twenty-first century. To meet the need of a socialist market economy and the policy to open more widely to the world, we aim to teach the essential knowledge and skills necessary for today’s international business activities. We absorb the successful experience from abroad to add an extra dimension to our program and widen the horizons of students. At present, IBUB offers courses such as international business, international hotel&restaurant management, international trade, english, finance, law, business administration, computer, P.E., art and so on.
The University sticks to an open-door policy. It is the sister university of Northwestern Polytechnic University. So far, it has established cooperative project based on “2+2” with universities and colleges in the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, Malaysia and so on.
The University has formed its own way suitable for the international market during this ten years. As it become more commonplace to study international business in China, International Business University Of Beijing will be a mark of distinction.
