Hey there I'm Simon I'm currently working for Daqiao foreign language school in Jilin province northeastern China. Firstly let me explain. Daqiao is the biggest privately owned foreign language school in North-eastern China the school has over 50 branch schools spread through out small villages, regional centres and the biggest city Changchun (the capital of Jilin province). We even have recently opened up a new school in Shijiazhuang capital city of Hebei province approximately 3 hours from Beijing. Let me tell you two things we are not an agency we are a school so we won't be "pimping" you out to elementary, middle or high schools in the city you will only work for Daqiao I've been a foreign teacher for the school nearly a year and a half I have never had one complaint about the school except you will work weekends as we are a private training school that's the downside to working for Daqiao for that there is a positive we will pay one of the highest salaries in the city for teaching children. You will only be working in Changchun unless you request to work in the small villages (they're pretty fun enables you to get a glimpse of real country China. We want teachers who are active and who love to teach kids they can be little terrors at times but kids are kids. Changchun well... Changchun is a pretty neat city it has it's up's and down's just like any other city I guess, It has a population of about 6 million it's not westernised like Beijing or Shanghai but you can still get good western food so don't worry about that I myself will show you all the cool places where to shop, hangout and eat. Summers can be quite hot, springs are cool to warm, autumn time is probably the best not to hot not to cold, but the winters... there ok I guess. There’s good skiing though. Now the serious business the requirements and the benefits: - Must be a native English speaker. I’m sorry to all those wonderful candidates from all African countries, India and Pakistan (except South Africa) please do not apply unless you were born in a native speaking country. Salary: - 6000 Yuan for a degree holder with 1-year experience. 6000 Yuan without a degree but must have Tesol with at least 1.5 years - 2 years experience. 5500 Yuan with a degree and no experience. 5000 Yuan with TESOL and no experience. All the above salaries are for per month and 20 hours per week you will not work more than 20 hours a week or 80 hours a month if you end up working more than the contracted hours we will pay you overtime, overtime is paid at 100 Yuan per hour Apartments allowance is an extra 550 Yuan per month and transportation fee is about 200 - 300 Yuan minimum 150 Yuan. One-way airfare is offered. Finally the total salary minimum will 5700 - 6800 including apartment allowance and transportation allowance the school also offers accident insurance, All up we offer are pretty enticing salary higher than most schools.
