| POSITION SUMMARY
The web designer will be responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of the website. RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintaining a site design that is attractive to the target user, is consistent with firm-wide style guidelines, has a logical navigation system, and has all of the required features and functionality - Work with the design group to ensure consistency between online and offline creative and execution - Writing web pages in a combination of codes, such as HTML and XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Actionscript, ColdFusion, .Net, Flash, or using code-generating programs, such as Dreamweaver and Visual Studio - Testing the site for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions - Partnering with Site Management counterparts to solve usability issues and correct errors BACKGROUND/SKILLS REQUIRED - 2+ years designing and implementing interactive content using HTML and XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Actionscript, ColdFusion, .Net, Flash, Flex, or using code-generating programs, such as Dreamweaver and Visual Studio - A combination of graphic design skills and technical knowledge of how web pages are created - 1+ years solving for web usability issues - Good Oral English and be able to work under pressure If you are interested in this job, please be free to contact us by teachcn@yahoo.com.cn or shanghai@softmaster.cn |
