| Job Description:
BU: FNET (Fluke Networks) GENERAL SUMMARY: a.Responsible for selling Fluke Networks NMPP products within an assigned territory. b.Represent Fluke Networks to the distributors and end users in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions and other distribution support activities. c.Create long-term relationships with customers. PRIMARY FUNCTION/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: a.Sell, promote, direct, and assist distributors in marketing the Fluke Networks NMPP products. b.Build up and manage sales channels. c.Secure and renew orders. d.Work with established sales network alliances and develop new ones. e.Recognize potential problems (including poor sales performance) and take corrective action. f.May coordinate seminars and tradeshows. Conduct seminars for customers. g.May participate in developing initial business concepts and business cases for product development. h.Perform related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Education: Bachelor's degree required. BS in Engineering, Applied Computer Science or other related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university preferred. Networking industry related course certifications may substitute in some cases. Demonstrated intellectual capability to expand and grow as FNET products increase in breadth and complexity. Experience: Strong ability in initiating and managing sales channels. Prefer at least 5 years minimum successful experience in similar industry in a sales, Computer Science Engineer, or equivalent role.
