Beijing (Full Day Tour)

Option 1 -- Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace

English speaking tour guide and private vehicle will pick you up from your hotel in the morning.

Drive to the famous Tiananmen Square - The biggest downtown Square of the world. Stroll around the square. From the north end of Tiananmen Square, we will enter the Forbidden City-also called Palace Museum, is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City isthe world’s largest palace complex. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 1.5 to 2 hours. Visit the Temple of Heaven afterwards. You will have lunch with minority dance show.

After lunch, drive to the Summer Palace-20 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc. Take sightseeing in the beautiful garden for about one hour. You will have the Peking duck dinner. We will transfer you back to your hotel after the whole day tour.

Option 2 -- Badaling Great Wall and Ming Tombs

Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle.

Drive one and half hours to the famous Badaling Great Wall. Badaling is the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained, easy for travelers to walk along the defensive project of ancient China. Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for about 2 hours. Cable car is optional to get the top to have a bird view of the wall.

Drive 30 minutes to a restaurant to have Chinese lunch and have a short rest.

Drive 20minutes to the Ming Tombs. Visit Changling for one hour. Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous one. Construction of the Changling was started in 1409 and completed in 1427.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.

Option 3 -- Simatai Great Wall

Be met and picked up from your hotel in the morning by English-speaking tour guide and private vehicle. Drive 2.5 to 3 hours to Simatai Great Wall.

The Simatai Great Wall (1368-1398), 120 kilometers 2.5 to 3 hours’ driving from the Beijing city. This magnificent section features great strategic significance with some unique characteristics. It is often described with the following five words: perilous, dense, diverse, ingenuous, and peculiar. Simatai Great Wall is a favorite place for photographers, climbers and hikers. (Remark: the Simatai Great Wall is dangerous, Beijingservice suggest you to take cable if you are not a climber.) Have local lunch. Take sightseeing on Great Wall for about two hours on Simatai Great Wall. Transfer you back to your hotel after the whole day tour.
