Sliced meat in baked bun means meat stuffed in toasted wheat flour flatbread. It is a snack widely popular among the folks in Northwest China. The most famous are “Oily sliced pork in baked bun” in Shaanxi and “Sliced mutton in baked bun” in Ningxia and nearby. As a famous snack in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, the former Marinated meat in baked bun features finely chopped pork and impressive taste. The stuffing of the latter is mutton and vegetables.
