Teaching
Key Task: Planning, preparing and delivering lessons and workshops for children and adult learners
· Building bonds with children aged between 3 and 18 years old
· Tailoring a recognised curriculum to the needs for your learners
· Ensuring learning is a fun, interactive experience
· Utilising games and technology as appropriate to engage learners
· Working closely with your Chinese speaking Teaching Assistant to ensure all learners are meeting agreed targets
· Assessing learners needs and progress
Marketing
Key task: Contributing to the success and profitability of the school by taking part in marketing and promotional activities
· Assisting Chinese colleagues with marketing by, for example, meeting parents and children outside local schools
· Attending marketing events
· Working to ensure sign up and reenrolment targets are met
· Assisting with bids for Corporate Language Training as required
· Being a role model for learners and an ambassador for the school at all times
Administration and Communication
Key task: Ensuring students benefit from a comprehensive and coherent learning experience by taking responsibility for administration and communication in your area.
· Working with your Teaching Assistant to ensure parent communication books are completed
· Communicating regularly and fully with management to highlight potential issues before they escalate
