Thorough knowledge of the APQP Process and all documents such that they could teach this to a group of people who have never done this before. They should have completed APQP documentation multiple times for International Customers in their past work experience.
Good problem solving skills and so they provide multiple examples of problems they solved. They must thoroughly understand how to complete 8 D reports and be able to teach it to others. It would even be better if they lead a team of individuals to solve company problems, not just participated in someone else's team to solve problems.
Must understand ISO 9000, QS9000, and TS16949 Site audit requirements. Doing an assessment and telling a Supplier to fix them self is not good enough. They must relate how they worked with Suppliers (more than 1) to actively help them improve.
Must have been involved in multiple new product launches where Project Management activities (tracking of tools, parts, and key program events) was done by them and addressing crisis situations because something was missed or timing was extremely tight.
