Production Manager
SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of production team. Ensures that production schedules and delivery commitments are consistently met and ensures that the workshop is safe and well organized.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the production resources of the factory so as to meet production targets and delivery deadlines, in accordance with specifications with maximum levels of efficiency and quality
- Plans and assigns work , implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions
- Optimizes operational processes with focus on safety, efficiency, and quality
- Supplies technical assistance to customers as necessary
- Oversees inventory and purchasing of raw material, accessories for equipment
- Ensures that all raw materials are inspected and qualified as required
- Purchases equipment as required for the plant operations
- Promotes a safe and organized working environment
- Establishes system for inventory planning /management for raw materials and finish products to minimize cost while providing quick delivery to customers
- Ensure accuracy of inventory count and monthly audit
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University graduate in chemical engineering
- Minimum 3-5 years of experiences in WFOE in production management positions.
- Be able to improve working conditions (safety, quality, productivity ,cost) and increase subordinates’ skills and capabilities
- Be able to assist General Manager in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedure, safety, quality control, and performance management
- Extremely strong skills with proven track record in communication, leadership, business analysis, process development, administration, and change management are required, attention to detail and ability to work well with teams is also required.
- Good experiences in ERP, “6S”/Lean and ISO
- Fluency in English
