Editorial Intern
Description
China Economic Review is looking for a native English-speaking intern to work full-time within our editorial team. The successful candidate will participate fully in the production process, supporting the editors throughout the production cycle. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Daily sourcing, writing and editing of China-related short news stories
- Thorough proof-reading of various publications (magazines, books etc.)
- Researching and writing articles for our monthly and quarterly publications (this will depend on writing experience and/or demonstrated capabilities
- Other ad-hoc tasks, such as sourcing photos, conducting and transcribing interviews, updating of our website etc., in general support of the editors.
The initial contract period will be six months, to be reviewed at that time subject to satisfactory performance.
Requirements
- Educated to undergraduate level
- Strong researching and writing skills, experience in editorial writing is a bonus
- Good administrational and organizational skills
- English language at native level is essential.

China Economic Review is a monthly magazine published in Hong Kong covering business, finance and economics in China. It has been published since 1990. We publish a comprehensive package of original reporting, commentary and analysis for the discerning business reader with an interest in China's economic affairs.
