Objective
The General Manager is the leader of Energize China Ltd and is accountable for managing healthy relationships with key stakeholders including clients, press, staff and partners. He or she develops the vision and mission of the agency and is responsible for defining a clear agency strategy and proposition adapted for the Chinese market. The GM closely watches market developments and guards the continuity of the agency.
Results
· Responsible for managing and building the Energize team
· Yearly developing the agency’s strategy
· Yearly defining the agency’s and people’s objectives
· Continuously striving for further growth in the Gross Agency Income and Net Profit
· Yearly chairing a evaluation-, objective- and performance review meeting with all the team members
· Development of large new business opportunities and acquiring new clients which fit Energize’s Sandbox
· Development and managing press relations
· Delivering an excellent satisfaction rate for both Energizers and clients
· Attracting and recruiting new talent for the Energize team
Responsibilities
The GM is authorized - within the boundaries of the defined areas of results – to manage the budgets and resources needed to perform.
Position in Agency
The GM is at the helm of the Energize China office. He or she reports directly to the controlling shareholders and chairs the bi-weekly management meetings (Finance and Management Huddle). He or she leads the complete team in Shanghai, including the Creative, Studio and Account team (currently ten team members). The shareholders of Energize will yearly evaluate the performance of the GM.
