Job Description
? Week long English classes in a summer camp style
? Helping Chinese English Teachers to improve their English speaking, pronunciation, and teaching methods.
? Help the class participants to begin thinking in English
? Inspire the class participants (Chinese English teachers) to become better teachers.
? Push students to reach unrealized potential
The ultimate goal is to help the Chinese English teachers become better teachers so their students can become better at English.
Job Responsibilities
? Teaching the same class each day to four different groups of 10 to 15 students
? Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm
? Teachers will be teaching one of 4 subjects: Accents and Pronunciation, Group Discussion, Paraphrase, Speaking Skills
? *OPTIONAL* Evening activities with the students
Job Qualifications
? A+ Attitude
? Experience teaching or training
? Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching
? Patient and understanding with student challenges and needs
? Genuine interest in improving the English of their students
? A desire to impact on the quality of English education taught in Chinese school
? At minimum, a basic understanding of Chinese culture and language
? Native English speaker
? Bachelors Degree or higher
Benefits/Other Important Information
? Generous compensation of 4,000 RMB per week (negotiable based on experience)
? Lunch is provided
? *OPTIONAL* 500RMB/day extra for evening activity
? If participating in evening activities, dinner and lodging is provided.
