About King's English for Kids |
King’s English for Kids is currently looking for five teachers to join its expanding team of teaching professionals at its head centre in Tianjin. These positions offer a great opportunity for teachers wishing to further their ESL career in China, participating in a rapidly-expanding and exciting educational institute.
King’s English for Kids was established in late 2009 to be a modern, productive and enjoyable environment for young students to study in. Interest and enrolment in the school has been immense, with the result that a further seven schools have been opened nationwide in the last year, each rapidly becoming fully enrolled.
King’s English for Kids is primarily based in Tianjin, which is located about thirty minutes away from Beijing by train, but also has centres in Beijing and Hainan, with centres to be opened in Qingdao in September 2011. Class sizes are small, and the teaching team is intimate and friendly, with a good working atmosphere. Teachers are cared for by a foreign management team who help with any of the difficulties encountered living and working in another country, whether they are personal or professional.
Contract details consist of thirty teaching contact hours per week (one teaching contract hour equal to fifty minutes). Classes usually take place during the evenings and on weekends. Teachers receive two consecutive days off per week.
Remuneration includes the following:
1) A competitive salary based upon qualifications and experience (10000-13000 RMB).
2) Free clean, modern, accommodation including all utilities (electricity, water, gas, telephone, ADSL), located close to the school.
3) A round-trip airfare upon completion of a one-year contract, up to the value of $1000 USD.
4) Health insurance.
5) Standard Chinese holidays, plus an additional week during the summer term.
6) All visa/medical costs reimbursed.
7) Free Chinese tuition
Candidates interested in applying for this position should:
1) hold a university degree in any discipline
2) be between 25-50 years of age
3) have at least one year of working experience after graduation (in any field)
4) be a native English speaker holding a passport from one of the following countries – The UK, The USA, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, or Australia.
Upon arrival, the successful candidate will receive 2-4 weeks of training
