Director of Studies (English) Teaching DoS role (1 part-time) Australian pay and benefits Working for a leading Australian vocational education provider One part-time Director of Studies (English) is required for a joint Australian-Chinese program in Shanghai, China. The position is for 20 weeks, working 2.5 days/15 hours per week and would suit someone with other part-time commitments in Shanghai. The DoS will oversee the delivery of the program in accordance with the AQTF. The position involves student assessment and some teaching, managing and reporting on the program, and mentoring local teachers. A full job description would be discussed at interview. Orientation is provided. Essential criteria Desirable
Bachelor degree
Cert IV TAA
English teaching qualification
3 years’ teaching experience (ESL/EFL)
Experience teaching in China
Experience working within the AQTF
Managerial experience in an ESL/EFL context
