* there is a focus on general corporate/M&A work, including our work for international and SOE clients;
* someone with interest in assisting with our regulatory practice (employment and competition law) would be preferable
* the position is based in Shanghai (in our Xintiandi office)
* English and mandarin fluency is essential
* an interest in assisting with general marketing and business development would be well regarded
* PRC qualification is preferable but not required
* any experience at an international law firm would be well regarded
* the position may involve opportunities for future secondment to our Australian or Hong Kong offices if that would be of interest (but is not essential)
* the salary is negotiable
