Manufacturing Engineer / Mechanical Designer
Job Description
Fast paced, full solution engineering and manufacturing firm seeking mechanical engineer/mold designer with 2-3 years experience, strong initiative and problem solving skills. Bachelor or greater , for designer excellent training and experience may be substituted for degree. Foreign company working experience, and minimum of 1 year program team experience, with Automotive part manufacturing experience, molding plastics, cable manufacturing and metal forming experience is preferred. TS16949 experience needed.
Good communication and project coordination capacity. Good career experience and team play along with the ability to handle increasing responsibility. Overcomes barriers to achieving goals and objectives while maintaining good relationships with co-workers, strong ability to listening, spoken, reading and written English, at least CET4
Reports to: Program Engineering Manager
General Description of the Position:
Responsible for technical support for production of a variety of products from the manufacturing process and delivery point of view. Includes driving continuous improvement in Quality, Cost and Delivery by using Lean manufacturing practice, Kai-zen events and other team or individual techniques as necessary to bring lasting improvement to the manufacturing plant. Identifies problems with existing process or methods, determines root cause, then designs, implements and sells solutions to the rest of the manufacturing management team and production workers.
