English Teacher
Qualification:
?Bachelor’s Degree and above (preferably in education or teaching related field)
?TESOL/TEFL Qualifications (preferred)
?Work experience: one year of teaching ESL/EFL or more.
?Australian TAFE retired teacher with appropriate experience and qualifications is a plus.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Working hours: 11 -15 teaching hours face to face approximately, some evening student self-study supervision
Class size: about 30 students (Class ratio: 1:30)
Direct teaching activities include but are not limited to:
?Face to face teaching; ?Marking; ?Classroom support and advice; ?Supervision of self directed learning ?Development of learning materials; ?Attendance at staff meetings; ?Student selection; ?Familiarity with curriculum, program development and review; ?Workplace training and assessment. ?Research; ?Course coordination as specified in curriculum documents.
