De’ai Training Center needs qualified teachers to teach English in its thoroughly modern premises and is offering annual contracts - a fulltime ESL teacher teaches approximately 24-28 forty-five minute classes per five-day week. Non-classroom hours are a potential source of additional income and are dedicated to special projects, curriculum development and ongoing improvements to pedagogy and methodology.
Client students range from pre-school age to adult and have varied requirements – your preferred level will be canvassed at the time of your personal interview and will assist in determining placement.
Dress code for the teacher is business casual or school uniform (sweater and t-shirts supplied).
Benefits
*Monthly salary of RMB8,000 – 12,000 commensurate with qualifications, experience and teacher’s commitment to additional duties as above
* Reimbursement of one- or two-way economy-class airfare between the teacher's home country and port of arrival in China to an agreed maximum based on contract duration.
* Reimbursement of the teacher's visa (one-entry), work permit in China, and one medical examination for the purpose of foreign expert certificate attainment.
* Foreign Expert Certificate which certifies and authorizes the teacher in China
* Comprehensive Accident Insurance for the teacher under the age of 60 for the entire contract period, which covers major expenses for hospitalization
* Paid sick leave and paid statutory holidays in China
* Free Mandarin classes every week if desired
Qualifications
Native English-speaker being American, Australian, Canadian, European, New Zealand or South African without a strong regional accent
- Bachelor's Degree or better
- TESOL Certificate or minimum two years teaching experience. (TESOL training and certification also available)
- No criminal record
- In good health
- Outgoing and passionate for helping young students to learn
- Capable of quickly adapting to different cultural and social environments
