In this position, you will be part of our Global Sourcing group ,China whose primary responsibility is to successfully deploy Stanadyne Global Sourcing Strategy in China . You will work closely in a multi-disciplinary multi-cultural team composed of individuals from Stanadyne Procurement, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Material Planning departments and Supplier base. You will also need to mentor and lead SQE team to meet KPIs as PPM and OTD. The position requires Leadership, Autonomy, Team, Results oriented spirit and willingness to travel regularly regionally in China (Up to 75% of travelling) as well as United States occasionally.
· Establishment of supplier rating system for supplier base in China and maintain/improve the supplier base to strive to the PPM and OTD targets
· Mentor and lead SQE team and development skill and experience level and set up the career plan accordingly for SQE individual with assist from senior quality manager
· Direct involved and manage one most critical supplier on development/improvement
· Research and understand desired Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing Process requirements on each of the sourcing programs in China
· Evaluate and Recommend potential supplier and its tiers in regards with their
o Manufacturing process capability review
o Engineering capability review
o Quality Management review
o Quality systems compliance
· Lead Supplier Development activities on specific sourcing programs such as
o Design reviews
