Partner with company leaders to forecast and ensure that we have the delivery talent to meet immediate and future client needs – right people, right place, right time. We are currently looking for a Resource Manager (RM) to join our Greater China office to be located our Shanghai office.


Job Responsibilities

■ Partner with Sales leaders and Managing Directors to understand forecast and ensure that PDI NH has enough delivery talent to meet immediate and future needs

■ Identify talent and resource gaps and communicate to appropriate teams for enablement/hiring.

■ Work with Client Managers, Project Managers and Engagement Managers to scope the work to determine the capabilities needed, duration, level, etc.

■ Manage scheduling trade offs (profitability, quality and service, skill building, and engagement)

■ Ability to coach and develop Operations Managers/Schedulers and take a leadership role on the team;

■ Provide opportunities for professional delivery services talent to meet or exceed utilization goals

■ Analyze needs to utilize “green dollars” for travel and when Adjunct teammembers are needed to supplement internal workforce;

■ Participate in performance reviews of delivery talent

■ Collaborate with appropriate Leaders to ensure delivery talent maintains quality/capability building

■ Partner with counterparts in EMEA and NA to successfully staff global delivery and define new processes that enable more efficient global RM.

■ Facilitate enablement sessions for the RM Team and our customers regarding RM Processes and procedures. Attend customer meetings to answer questions on RM;

■ Promote and participate in the development of global workforce planning and forecasting efforts.


Experience and Education Requirements

■ 4 year degree required

■ 5+ years business experience in a related field

■ Proficiency with MS Office tools, SAP and other related systems/programs

■ Fluent in spoken and written English; Mandarin or Japanese a plus.
