Our school is seeking to recruit some full-time qualified teachers to teach Grade 10 students in an international school.
FOREIGN TEACHERS
Job Description
1. Plan for and guide the learning process to help students achieve program objectives.
2. Uphold and promote the school's philosophy, mission, and goals.
3. Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning.
4. Maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians.
5. Use appropriate assessments as a way to support student learning.
6. Work collaboratively with other staff members in curriculum assessment and implementation.
Requirements for Applicants
Applicants are expected:
? to be native English speakers, American, Canadian, British preferred.
? to have a Bachelor's degree or above.
? to be mature individuals .
? to have at least 2 years’ teaching experience .
? to be out-going, responsible and patient.
? to sign at least a one year contract.
? to have a positive working attitude, be passionate about education and be open to new ideas.
? to be able to teach one of the four subjects : math, IT, English, Art.
Job information:
? Grade 10
? Teach two classes
? 20-25 students in one class
? Teachers are required to teach 10 (70 minute) main classes/week and 5 (70 minute) minor classes/ per week.
Starting date: 25th Aug, 2011 (the school will start 5th Sep , 2011)
The school offers to full-time teachers:
Working visa
EAL/ESL Teacher – 15 000 RMB/month before tax for a one year contract.
Math Teacher – 20 000 RMB/month before tax for a one year contract.
? Bonus:
A bonus will be paid at the end of the contract; this will be a performance based bonus.
? Holidays:
The teacher will receive all Chinese national holidays paid.
The teacher will also be entitled the summer holiday paid.
The teacher will be entitled to one week’s holiday over the Christmas period paid.
